Italian Pizza and Pasta
Stefano’s is a stylish and family friendly Italian restaurant situated on beautiful Waiheke Island. A favourite with visitors and locals alike, we pride ourselves on the unmistakable quality of our food, our enthusiastic staff, and the fun and informal atmosphere in our restaurant.
Situated just 35 minutes by ferry from downtown Auckland and 45 minutes from Half Moon Bay (see map); we are open Seven nights y from 5.30pm, and Luch Friday to Sunday 12pm – 2:30 pm. We are both BYO (for small groups only) and licensed. We are also open for private functions and events .

We are renowned for our European styled thin-based pizzas for which we have created an exciting and flavourful range of toppings (see our pizza menu). Our three main categories – ham or salami, seafood or vegetarian – can be customised to your particular taste, as we know that not all palates enjoy hot salami or anchovies! We also have a selection of pastas, entrees, antipastos, salads and breads to choose from. To complement our extensive range of traditional Italian pizza and pastas, we also create special dishes to take advantage of seasonal, fresh and local Waiheke-grown produce.
Pizzas for special diets!
For those with a gluten or dairy intolerance we offer gluten-free pizza bases or pastas, with whatever toppings you would like to choose, as well as some dairy-free alternatives. So everyone can relax and enjoy our food, whatever their dietary requirements.
Indoor and outdoor dining
Our restaurant has relaxed and stylish indoor and outdoor dining areas, with a marquee which can be hired out for private functions. We also have a large blackboard for keeping the kids occupied.
